Digital skills for Resilience, is a project designed to build the skills and resilience of women following the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our project will support women, particularly those that have been unemployed for a long time as well as those whose employment have been affected due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our project is a new project and would provide essential digital skills that will strengthen the resilience of women and support them to become economically empowered and financially independent,
ensuring that these long-time unemployed women and those by loss of jobs due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic are able to secure employment and remain in jobs. The
impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the fastest digital transformation of businesses in history, with working patterns in most organisations shifting to remote working. Our project will also equip women with the skills and
confidence to work in organisations with remote working patterns. The lessons from our project
will be documented through regular participants’ surveys throughout the life of our project and the outcome of the surveys will continue to shape and improve the quality of our project delivery.
We will produce project flyers and distribute these to help us create awareness about our project. Awareness of our project will also be
created through social media platforms that we use (Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp). As part
of our project delivery, we will co-operate with other local organisations and community groups
to create awareness of our project.
